Gregynog Hall is a quality assured tourist attraction, with its Grade 1* listed gardens, set within 750 acres of country estate, incorporates fountains, a Lily pond and water garden. A mass of Rhododendrons and yew hedge create a spectacular backdrop to sunken lawns. Ancient Oaks form the Great Wood attracting diverse bird life. The Gardener’s Chronicle of 1912 described these as ‘highly artistic and in complete harmony with the natural surroundings, CADW added ‘one of the most important parks and gardens in Powys, dating from at least 1500s.
